Each coin weighed two “qian” (錢—a unit of weight equal to five grams). The front side of this coin indicates that the coin was manufactured in the 32nd year of the Guangxu Reign. The minting process was supervised and carried out by Hubu. The coin was worth 10 cents (文). A coiled dragon graces the back of this machine-made coin.
